Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. She is primarily the performer. Since she was 9 years of age, she began exploring music. When she was 12 years old, music was important enough to start training professionally. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded the album with songs at age fourteen. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was raised in the USA but holds Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never visited Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. Through studying Spanish and composing songs, she tries to keep the culture alive. "Hasta Verte," which that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses", or votes by the judges at The Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however following "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth week of live performances.
