Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, songwriter and actress. Many people recognize her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. She maintains that music is the first thing that interests her. It's something she is experimenting at since she was 9 years old. When she reached the age of 12 the music she was playing took more serious form and she began professional training. At 13, she began making music. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and spent her entire life in the United States. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she's recorded can be a perfect example. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere episode of The X Factor. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X Factor following the submission of an YouTube performance video. She received the four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three female singers along with her were put together to audition the rest of her tracks. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the Live program.
